October, 25 2002 Private Art and I shared the excitement with thousands of interested fans recently to await the flight of the rescued, restored, rebuilt, revitalized and revered WWII airplane - the P-38. This historic event took place after a 300 mile drive to Middlesboro Kentucky. 
As a tribute to WWII veterans, their families, friends and all intersted onlookers, we present our impression of the once-in-a-lifetime program starring the P-38 Lightning and the folks who made it possible. For more information about this restoration project visit "The Lost Squadron" web site.
