In the course of the actual 60th anniversary of the liberation of Luxembourg by the US Army, we had discussions in the family, and now we are looking for a black american sergeant, Herb Williams, who had been with our family in Mersch/Luxembourg in 1944/1945 at the end of WWII. He must have been about 22 years old at that time. We have a picture showing him with 4 other officers.
Is there anybody who can tell us something about him, or who can help us find him and/or his family back.
